April 2 – 8, 2007 is America’s National Public Health Week. This year, the theme is preparedness, with a special focus on addressing the unique needs of vulnerable populations. UPCPHP gears up for the kickoff by featuring the new Pennsylvania Public Health Law Bench Book and taking a look at the challenges of preparedness.

The University of Pittsburgh Center for Public Health Preparedness (UPCPHP) trains public health professionals, including professionals in related organizations, to respond to bioterrorism, infectious disease outbreaks, and other public health threats and emergencies.
